Driving Directions to the Property:


From Houston take US 59/I-69 south and take the Grand Parkway/FM 2759 (Crabb River Road) exit and go south. Continue south on FM 762/Crabb River Road past George Ranch. Stay on FM 762 and cross over Big Creek. In approximately one mile, turn left on Peters Road.  From US 59 to Peters Road is approximately 12 miles. The property is at the end of Peters Road, through the gate.

Tract 1

This 10.79 + acre tract is located at the entrance of the property. There is a is a home site with a manufactured home and a shop building located on this tract.  This property includes a water well, and many live oak trees to provide a relaxed country atmosphere.  The tract is approximately 60% woodland.

 

Tract 2

This is a 10.63 + acre tract and has many locations ideal for a home site.  There is a nice horse barn located on the south boundary of the property.

 

Tract 3

This 23.93 + ac tract on the very western side of this auction property backs up to Big Creek.  This parcel has primarily scattered wooded areas.

 

Tract 4

A pond is the primary feature of the this 26.42 + acre tract with many large live oak trees.  This tract backs up to Big Creek and has access along the south side.

 

Tract 5

Many ideal building sites, large oak trees, and scattered brush highlight this 10.0 + acre tract.  There is access along the south and east side of the parcel. 

 

Tract 6

This tract has 10.86 + acres with large oak trees and scattered brush.  There are many good building sites on this property.

 

Tract 7

This 37.37 + acre tract has access at the center of the south boundary.  It is bounded by Big Creek on the north side of the property. The wooded area and water make this an ideal recreational tract.  This tract sells ABSOLUTE!!!

 

Tract 8

Consisting of 91.56 + acres, this is the largest tract in the Auction.  It is primarily all wooded with drainage lanes dissecting the property.  The wooded area and thick brush makes this a good recreational tract.  This tract will sell ABSOLUTE!!!!

Land Auction Proof of Strong Land Values

 

On Thursday, March 5th, Clift Land Auctions held a successful land auction in Raton, NM.  Offered for sale was 3,920 acres of NE New Mexico ranchland. “We offered this land in two individual tracts and ended with two buyers,” commented George Clift, owner of Clift Land Auctions and Clift Land Brokers in Amarillo, Texas.  The final results totaled to just over $2M, representing a new high for land values in that area.

 

To kick off the bidding, the auctioneer solicited a donation to the all volunteer Des Moines EMS in Des Moines, NM. The highest bidder, Jordan Ward, Vice President of the Farmers & Stockmen’s Bank of Clayton, NM donated $500.00, on behalf of the bank, to help support this organization.  Clift Land Auctions will match their donation with another $500.00.

 

“This land auction offers proof that land values in our area remain strong and that a land auction is a sound business decision for ranchers”, added Mr. Clift. 

Dairy Facility Draws Interest from Coast to Coast

 

On Tuesday, January 13th, Clift Land Auctions held a successful auction in Dumas, Texas. Up for sale was the Front Range Dairy and 980 + acres of highly productive irrigated farmland. This property was offered in three individual tracts, which made this property attractive for a variety of potential buyers. “We had interest in this auction from New York State to California. Interest came from local farmers, feedyard owners, east coast investors, and dairymen from all over the United States”, said George Clift, owner of Clift Land Auctions and Clift Land Brokers in Amarillo, Texas.  As it turned out, this property sold to one buyer for $4.73 M, exceeding the sellers’ expectations.

Clift Land Auctions donated $500.00 to the High Plains Food Bank, matching a donation in the same amount made by Gary and Karin Sutherland at our auction held on October 16th.
